Client Background
KPI Health (KPI) has a goal to deliver innovative, adaptable solutions that address the distinct challenges within the healthcare sector, driving continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.
KPI’s insource programme can deliver full patient pathways of behalf of the NHS including full outpatient clinic service, surgeries and neurodevelopment assessments.
Led by their clinical experts and supported by regional teams, KPI is committed to providing the highest standard of NHS patient care.
For KPI to provide the NHS with this level of support it needs a reliable and responsive IT partner so that IT issues do not hinder KPI Health’s performance and in fact enable the business to be more productive.
Challenge
KPI Health had several frustrations with its existing IT provision before engaging with BlueZeon.
As an organisation KPI hosts 2 brands, while also hosting colleagues who work overseas. The nature of healthcare dictates the importance of 24/7 system access and robust continuity planning. Our previous provider, while professional; struggled to deliver a remote platform that offered pace, consistent access and clear differentiation between company domain and email set up.
Weekend down time, while not huge; was impactful. Teams were occasionally locked out from systems which took time to reimplement.
KPI’S previous remote storage solution allowed them to procure lower specification PC’s, when working offline – the impact of lower-level equipment was more apparent.
KPIs previous infrastructure felt dated, it was slow, and the time required to engage for solution or upgrade was too demanding for a growing business to maintain.

Implementation
From initial engagement the BlueZeon and KPI project team had to navigate both a KPI office move and the expiry of existing service contracts and notice periods with other suppliers.
This meant that the transfer of KPI support to BlueZeon took several weeks in the planning and eventual migration. Despite these hurdles the transfer went very smoothly and with negligible disruption to KPI’s business.
Benefits Achieved
Since onboarding with BlueZeon, KPI have immediately benefited from fast access to all systems for all colleagues, regardless of location or company allocation. This was driven at pace via the implementation team.
KPI’s system down time is almost 0%, even service updates are scheduled and planned around team availability or working hours.
Customer service responses are quick, the team at BlueZeon is experienced, down to earth and do not try to confuse non-technical users with jargon. KPI instead receives concise and accurate responses with fixes established in minutes.
BlueZeon also offers vast support with technical accreditations (ISO, Cyber Essentials Plus), working with KPI’s internal operations teams to deliver program audits to 3rd party certification standards.
When BlueZeon receives a service request that is specific to KPI’s business, KPI receive a well thought through and bespoke solution that requires little to no time input from KPI.
